Looking at a Jeep

Hi. I am looking at a 2001 Jeep Wrangler for $3,500. It runs and drives well, but the guy mentioned something about the back tire not being on the lift kit, and I dont quite understand. Hes says it would be about $1,500 to fix it. It also doesnt have power steering, but that doesnt bother me since my daily driver is a 1979 Vw bus. Would it be a bad idea to buy this with the lift kit the way it is?

That makes no sense what he told you. And all jeeps have power steering. Check to see if the box is shot. Angin makes no sense. MY want to know what you are looking at before you get into a headache

He said the power steering went out and I would need to replace it. I am mostly worried about the back tire and the lift kit. That is why I have posted on this site about it. Thank you

How many miles on this and the lift thing makes no sense don't know what he is talking about. Any pictures of the jeep? Also 3500 seems low for a well maintained jeep make sure the frame is in good condition is it a 4.0L or 2.5L engine?
