Hey boss, welcome to the board. I'm going to go ahead and move this over to the general tech section for you to get some responses.

I just bought a crossmember from Advance Adapters. They have a bolt in kit to put a small block chevy in a YJ. I havent put my motor in yet but I do know the crossmember fits great. I should have my motor in this next weekend and I will post some pics.

do you have the motor? just make sure you have the trans to go with it...it will have to be from a 4x4 if you wanna keep 4wd...make sure yor axles are up for it

That would be a commonly overlooked area for your swap. Your stock axles will not live very long with that amount of power.

I think spike TV, Trucks, had a good 3 part show on a YJ conversion using a 350 and auto tranny, straight bolt up, they used a throttle body fuel injection kit that was a tad pricey but you can use one from a GM V8, grab the harness and ecu and plug it right up. Poke around here, the direct link is for a FI conversion for a carter BBL using stock GM junkyard parts.
