Looking for first Wrangler

I'm currently searching for my first Wrangler and think I may have a found a pretty nice one. Here is the craigslist ad:

Good condition 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sahara

I checked it out and it drove great and I'm really happy that it has under 40k miles on it.

I'm not really a mechanical guy so I have a question that hopefully some of you may answer. When I was looking at it I noticed that some of the parts underneath the body seemed to be a little discolored. I don't know if I would say it was rust, but I feel like it could be. Would this worry you if you were considering purchasing this vehicle? The Jeep has seemingly been maintained very well and the actual body was mint.

Also, would you feel comfortable driving this Jeep as your daily driver? I work from home during the week, but then travel around the city of Chicago on weekends. So while my driving can be minimal during the week, it can be quite extensive on the weekends.

Any advice would be much appreciated! Hopefully I'll be in a Wrangler soon and can start feeling like a real Jeeper! Thanks again!

From the pics available, it looks clean and was probably towed behind a motorhome. So the motor might have 39K, but the rest likely has seen many more road miles...but still looks good.

Check the engine compartment and frame over for bad rust corrosion. Look for things to bring that high price down....like no back seat.

For sure it was towed behind a motor home, look at the picture of the front of it. 11 grand seems like a lot of money for it though.

I could be wrong but those look like plow brackets to me.
