Question Lug Nuts For Dummies

On my 03 TJ what size lug nuts do I need? I would assume that they're all the same diameter but I just want to make sure before I order the wrong thing.

I'm pretty sure they are all 1/2x20's. Go to advanced auto store and pull one off, take it inside and try the nut on the bolt samples they have around the chrome lug nut kits...

1/2x20 is correct... the only issue would be if the new lugs are slim enough to fit. I don't think you'll have an issue as your's are not recessed right?

There is more lug nut tech involved than just the thread bolt and pitch. You need a 60 degree conical acorn style lug nut. There are many different style lug nuts and the wrong set will make funky stuff happen to your wheels.

Sure. Post the link but keep it under 28k. That's the limit on that card.

My old lug nuts are chrome and they're all twisted up from the last guy using an impact wrench. Then I used the black one's that came with my black steel wheels but a couple of them have galled up some of my wheel studs because they're cheap crap. Now I have a mix of chrome and black lug nuts on my Jeep. I just wanted it to be pretty again.

Gotcha. Was going to say if it was just to get some locking ones I have a set of four of those silly ass gorilla things that I got suckered in to that I'd give ya for 15 bucks.
