Angry :mad: e-autogrilles games

I just wanted to post some info about a vendor that lies to customers and doesn't follow through on their word.

I purchased a tire carrier bumper for my JKUR back in February from e-autogrilles eBay store. It arrived in terrible packaging and the corners as well as D-ring brackets were poking through the packaging and scratched up. I requested a touch up kit to fix the blemishes and was informed they donít have anything to offer but would provide a 10% refund for my inconvenience. I agreed and sent photos and proof of the damage. They followed up stating they would refund 15% and if I could kindly provide positive feedback they will proceed with the refund, which I complied with. This was on April 4th. Unfortunately it dragged out past the window in which eBay or PayPal would get involved and they ultimately never refunded the 15% as promised. As soon as positive feedback was left they stopped responding and ignored all of my requests.

So ultimately I did get a bumper that was damaged and was never compensated for or sent any form of repair kit. I would venture to say that their feedback is mostly lies by using this technique to get positive feedback.

I would avoid purchasing any products from them as if there is an issue, most likely it will not get resolved.

That sucks. I had a good experience with them when I ordered my sliders. I know it's too late now, but you should have never given them what they wanted before you got what you were promised.

I agree now, but up until that point they actually were responsive, then nothing but crickets. Their feedback on eBay seems to have gotten worse this past month or so.

I have there corners and sliders. Every piece I have received from them comes scratched in terrible packaging. They sent me the wrong sliders and offered the same refund knowing that I would have to modify them to get them to work. They never sent the refund and I opened the claim. Ebay responded saying ship them back to E-autogrilles. WAY to costly to ship them back, asked for partial refund. They refused. I then left them negative feed back and they replied to my negative saying I needed to contact them before leaving a negative! E-autogrilles is a terrible company and they know how to play the EBAY game. I guess thats why you can't find a website or phone number from them. Don't buy from them.

MJK contact eBay with your correspondence. They should be able to allow you to edit your feedback or pressure the company to do what is right. If you have email of them baiting you like they did I'd also be inclined to contact PayPal and put the charge into dispute. Businesses had when this happens as it costs them money and can end up having their CC fees increased, those that know usually want to comply quickly. Sadly I've been hosed by a couple eBay dealers over the years and no longer trust any of them, I haven't made an eBay purchase in 10 years after being scammed and fighting it even with the police on my side. That's why you order through forum vendors instead of ebay through a seller you may not have any recourse with. We sell the same products, but unlike the ones on ebay the ones we sell actually come boxed instead of just wrapped in plastic and offer a full three year warranty backed by the manufacturer instead of the 30 day ebay window you get there.

Jeepsk8, if you want the products for a good price *plus* want to have confidence in the seller, feel free to purchase through us.

To the OP, using Rustoleum textured black spray paint will touch up those blemishes quite well and match the powdercoat as good as anything out there.

Besides my tailgate rack purchased from a gentleman on eBay with a strong track record here on the forums, I would only purchase from a well-known vendor that is active on the many forums.

Its odd to me that with such a great community of vendors (who many of which are jeepers themselves) we would look outside. At least for me, I dont always look for the cheapest, I look for the item with the best VALUE. Knowing that a someone I am spending my hard earned money with is part of the community and will be there to back it up with reputation skin in the game is worth a couple of bucks to me.

Definitely give Chris a call. I was looking at these same bumpers for my JK and found out that JeepAddOns sells them. Contacted Chris who gave me a great price, fast shipping, and packaged with about four layers of protection...even the jackwagons at FedEx couldn't mess them up!!

It's why I never order anything from a company who doesn't have a legit phone number or address. I prefer my local shops to work on my Jeep. But if I have to go outside the state lines, I do my homework thoroughly and make sure they are reputable.
