Mopar bike rack question

I've just bought an used Mopar bike rack for the spare tire and I am looking for some help from someone who has the same rack.
How do you secure the rack and the bikes? There are some holes in the screw that secures the rack to the tire mount and a cut in the upper part, where the bikes mount. I presume that they are intended for using a security device (a cable/padlock etc) that might have come with the rack (when new). The guy who sold me the rack said that he bought it together with the Jeep from a previous owner and this is all he's got.
So, any help will be highly appreciated, thanks!

Hey there, Popa!

The rack is secured to the Jeep by the big center bolt in the center of the wheel – as shown in the photo. The bikes are clamped into the saddels and held in place by the hand bolt. You should add your own cable lock to secure the bikes to the spare tire. If the bikes are girls bikes, they wont have a top bar, so they may be difficult to mount. We do sell a bar for that purpose.

If you're looking for specific instructions, you could always find the rack in our eStore and download the install sheet.

Hope this info helps!

Thanks for the answer!
I knew how it mounts, but I didn't know how to secure the rack and the bikes (if it had from the beginning any securing device or not). All clear now, I will do so.
By the way, there were no mounting instructions provided for this rack (but it is straight forward).
Thanks again.
