Most appealing Wrangler Model???

I want to know what the public opinion is. Which model Wrangler is the most appealing to the eyes?? Is it the Classic CJ? The Square Lighted YJ? The Round Lighted TJ? Or is it the Modern JK? "Now I'm done".

ok..My favorite is a CJ thats has been beautifully restored..makes my mouth water....and not overly lifted or with a lot of mods. just straight bodied and nice paint and interior..my dream jeep I must say..nothing like my old cj

CJs and TJs rule! I hate the ugly YJs with their square headlights and JKs although they have started to grow on me still don't stack up to the TJs or CJs.

Nothing wrong with that TOSHPLATE. I noticed one driving by last week; all yellow with black trim, nice wheels, top down. It was a looker for sure!!

Hmmm.....you really like digging up drama!

But are we talking appearance or function? I love the look and style of old school CJs but I could never imagine daily driving or hardcore wheeling in one. I like my spine arranged the way it is.

As for function (daily driving/wheeling) To me its option D none of the above. Im pretty partial to my LJ (the reason I bought it) much like the TJs it has coil n springs, fuel injection, steel body, but with a bit of a longer wheel base like the old scramblers and maintains the classic round headlights.

But everyone has their own preferences and this is just going to become an internet warrior thread that only comes down to personal preferences.

Just APPEARANCE everyone. I know they all have their pro's and con's, but I just want to know which model is the best looking to the eye.

My favorite is the TJ. The round headlights are definitely a plus.

However, the glove box AWD button would be nice...

The one that brings a smile to your face when driven..... If cost were no option and unlimited resources were available, I would go with the MB, but you did say 'Wrangler" , so that excludes anything pre 87, then I would have to go with my first, the one that got me hooked... YJ

TJ, LJ , CJ, YJ, JK In order of fav to least fav. I very much dislike the non round lights. and the JK's look to much like they were trying to keep up with the hummers look. The non fender metal on the jk's sucks too, in my opinion.

TJ is my favorite. It's be best mix of new "comforts" and technology with classic look.

I do have a soft heart for early 80's model CJ-5's though since this was my first Jeep.

My favorite is TJ/LJ (I'd prefer the LJ if I had any choice).
followed by CJ, then JK, and then finally the bastard child YJ

since the OP decided to include the CJ in their post asking what we liked best, i deemed it proper to ignore the fact that the wrangler did not exists till 1987, and choose the ballinest jeep ever, the cj2
