Hello everyone. I had ordered a set of Smittybilt bumpers for my YJ and really like the way they look. The thing that has me a little concerned is that there are not any mounting holes for the front plate. In CA it is a easy ticket to not have a plate on your vehicle. I would prefer to not have to drill holes into my new bumper and I am hoping someone may have a suggestion on how to stay legal. Thank you in advance.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I am going to see if I can rig up a bracket. Although I do like the excuse to buy a winch. Just gotta convince the wife about that one.
if you get a winch, get some mag-light holders from home depot or similar place and put them on the fairlead roller... like this... (look real close at the license plate) I used 4 bolts to attach it to the mag-light holders and clipped the holders onto the fairlead rollers.
