Post Mud: A Badge of Honor?

Should having your jeep covered in mud be a badge of Honor?
Personally, i feel as though it is. Anytime i muddy up my Jeep, i feel like its a badge of honor, "I survived a crap load of mud"

Any proof of using the Jeep for its intended purpose is a badge of honor in my book.

One of the last times I went mudding was the summer of 06. We fell off into a mud hole at the ORV in Hot Springs AR. I was in my 4runner at the time. It was fun while it lasted, but I NEVER got it all off. I was finding that crap two years later. I personally would rather take an aggressive trail, or mud in someone else's ride.

I'd rather trail ride than mud too. Or at least that was how I was with ATVs. I only assume I'll be the same with Jeeps.

Not a fan of mud at all. I like rocks/hills/technical trails that make me have to get creative in my lines instead of blasting through mud. You guys and gals can have the mud.

I always wash the mud off fairly soon after wheeling (If I am caked in mud - I tend to go around it if I can). I actually like my Jeep clean, it's nice!

I know where my Jeep has been... don't really need to prove it to the general public

Mud has cost me a few dollars back in the day. I try to avoid it whenever possible. However, when I can't . . . well let's just say there's probably still a few chunks orbiting the planet

i love having my jeep covered in mud, i had the inside and outside covered one time, and after we went off roading we went for ice cream, this guy walkin by goes, "now thats what a jeep is supposed to look like" lol i think all the mud and scratches gives my jeep character and its a conversation piece, cuz people always ask hey where'd ya go off roadin'?

I don't mind the mnud and dirt accumulated on the trail but I don'y go "muddin". I spray it down when I get home, sure makes it easier to find problems. To each his own though.

The mud is ok for a bit after your done wheeling but if you leave it on too long it looks like a slop mess to me. Some mud will stain the paint depending where you are. That is just my opinion. Mud is hard on stuff!
