The type and frequency of your offroading will determine the best tire for you. Just cause one dude likes the tires he got doesn't mean they'll also be good for you.
Hooliganss, I ran some treadwright tires on my previous vehicle. They were good traction and the price was unbeatable. They had quite a lot of road noise however. Also they put their treads onto various carcasses of other tires, try and get some with an appropriate weight rating for your jeep, the ones I selected were very durable but also very heavy.

I do plan on offroading frequently wether its a quick trail on the way home from work or a planned trip, i'm not going for looks, yes aggressive tires I like the looks, but id rather have performance over looks, KM2s did have one of the best ratings from 4wd magazine with like mud, sand, rocks, and street, I am not heavy duty, mud bog up to your windows but I do enjoy some.mud but mostly rocks
Went with the 35 inch MTR Kevlars on mine. Love them so far. Work great in the rocks and sandy trails. Fine on the street. Not the quietest but far from bad. Haven't done mud yet. Not a big mud fan. All in all a good solid tire with a tough sidewall.

I like my Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's a lot, great all around tire, very strong sidewalls. The last set of tires I had before these were duratracs and I loved those as well, only reason I didn't go with them again was because they didn't offer them in 35s. 33 is the biggest for Duratracs
Duratracs will outlast KM2s as they are an all terrain tire with less aggressive lugs and can better dissipate heat. Although most everything I've read is that Duratracs don't last as long as BFG A/Ts, which will easily last 50-60k miles if you take care of them.
