Talking My Jeep and I?...Peas and Carrots....

I just returned home from a business trip last weekend, and I'm headed out again Sunday through the beginning of June. Naturally I want to spend as much time enjoying my new Jeep as possible. Thankfully the weather turned out great! Yesterday I didn't work, took my new toy to get washed, then straight down to the tint shop. Tinted the front windows to match the back, looks great. Got home and took the top off her (adding the first of many scratches to come), and drove to the auto parts store and got my set of wrentches to remove the front bumper end caps. (also looks great) Then I devised a plan to lock up the hard top in my parking garage, lucky me, had another place to drive to. Got the top chained up and drove all around town getting sun and enjoying the weather. There were three cars at random times, while I was driving, which stalled while in front of me, worked out well though, got my exercise! After thinking about it maybe my Jeep's like the Grim Reaper, taking souls out of any vehicle close to it. Maybe she just got her name! Anyway went to the strip club last night with the girlfriend and had dinner, came home and took the doors off. Again another beautiful day today, only worked half day, put about another 100 miles on, and turned my first 1000! It must have hit 75 degrees today! She got her first coat of wax this afternoon, lookin sharp! Finally received my digital camera charger in the mail so I snapped some pictures. Its been a great two days, one more to come before the weather turns. Hope everyone else is lovin Jeep ownership as much as I.

Nice. The first thing I did to mine was remove those end caps also.

More importantly, I want to hear about this girlfriend that goes to the strip clubs with you. I'm jealous.

That is a good looking jeep. Might want to adjust the photos a bit. Your ratios are squashing the picture horizontally so the thing looks shorter. Kinda like a Samurai or Tracker. That being said its a mighty fine Rubicon.

Oh...yeah...its nice when you can the significant other likes to go to strip clubs. My wife and I go all the time...

i hear ya man....nothing feels better...these past few days ive had my top off, driving around town, fairly covered in mud from my wheeling trip to southern ohio saturday which gave me a great chance to test my new 2 inch lift which i had put on it the day before..lol...

the looks you get from all those people admiring your ride, wishing they could drive around with no doors and no top.....man i love it..ive had who knows how many smiles and thumbs up from others while ive been driving around

In the mix for the Jeep is a BB, BL and 305/70/16's on the Moab wheels. Quick disconnects, and eventually a tummy tucker kit. The ol lady enjoys the great cheap food at the strip club. The girls in there are always extra nice to the women when they come in. She doesn't mind me going to them while in travel as well, as long as I don't spend too much money. Good lord I love her! Again had another great day of weather, but I had to get the soft top on for the first time. I don't want to get stuck in one of the upcoming "Isolated Thunderstorms", without even having the soft top out of the packing! I can't wait to get in some mud to cover up that pretty Jeep, It'll have to wait till I get back in June. Thats why I put the fresh coat of wax on her. Want to make sure it all comes off when its time to get cleaned up. I plan on joining a four wheel drive club in June, and having some fun. I can't believe I'm going to miss the prime season for camping! Can't wait to get out in the outdoors. Thanks for the responses folks, Happy Jeepin!

*edit forgot to add, when my girlfriend and I first got together she was the Jeep owner, she's a true Jeep Girl. We ended up parting with her Jeep last Feb. cause she had it leased. We're both proud to have our new Jeep in the family! We had a ton of good times with the ol' 2001 Sport, looking forward to getting this one dirty as well.
