Unhappy My new Jeep® Pool!!

I left my top down over night, woke up, took a look out my window and saw good ol' rainy clouds. Seeing as it NEVER rains here, I would normally be quite happy with this rare treat but today is not my day.

any tips on how to take care of this? are my seats going to smell like mold?
luckily my POS stereo still works.

Oh and when i put my top doors behind my seat yesterday i accidentally put one of the door stake things through the fabric of my other one. that was also a nice treat to find this morning.

This happened to me not to long ago I just took out the carpet drained it all out, then stuck some fans in there all day and thats it, this has happened to me about 3 times and my jeep has never smelled like mold. another thing you could do is get a wet/dry vac and suck out the water

Or go to a carwash and use their vacs. Not that I have ever done that.

just make sure you get all the water in those hard to reach spots you do not want any rust to appear later down the road, I used a microfiber towel and soaked up the little puddles.

Something else is our weather guy is calling for the hot/dry/sunny the rest of the week. Dry it as best you can now, but when our sunshine returns, get the top off and leave it in the sun. Take anything out (rear seat etc) that moves and let the sun do most o' the work.

Yeah i just ripped out the carpet in the front, luckily the folded up soft top kept the "trunk" (along with my sub) dry and the rear seat kept my amp dry so i dont have to worry about the rear carpeting.

Jeez dude. I know it's SOCAL, but it DOES rain!

Don't park by the landscaping with the doors off either. Sprinklers will get you crap wet.

Sorry, don't mean to pile on. I went out to Corral Canyon in Sept and left the bikini off and it rained on me all day...ah well.

My hard top is sitting in the garage. Bad part of living here is deciding when to put it back on. Mine's still off.
