Need help from an American!

Hey American friends!

I am heading to Port Huron Michigan tomorrow morning to do a little shopping!

2 things I am looking for:

1) Where is the cheapest place to buy Black Plasti Dip? I know for sure there is a Walmart and I believe there is a home Depot. In Canada it's $25 a can which is rediculous!

2) This may be a question for the Port Huron locals or someone who has been there. I am looking for a 4X4/offroad store to purchase a Tuffy Hood lock and also some Mcgard hinge locks. Again I can have them shipped to Canada but shipping prices are almost as much as the product itself so if I can buy the product in the States it would be a big bonus! I know there is a Dicks and Gander mountain but doubt they have what I need. I would research it but not sure of the stores in the area! Any help would be appreciated!

Really all I need is to be pointed in the best direction for the things I need!

Thanks friends!

Home Depot & Lowes has Plasti Dip for $5.98 a can....that is, if they have it in stock! I've checked several Home Depots today & they were all out, but are expecting more tomorrow or the next day. Can't help you with the second question, though as I'm about 60 minutes away from Port Huron. Enjoy your time in Michigan

I love how you can travel just over the border and save $20 per can....especially when i need about 4 cans i am saving $80. That right there is worth the trip. And also I only pay 6% tax instead of 13% here in Ontario. Michigan here i come! Also hope someone can help me find an offroad store before the morning!

Mcdaniel and unlimited I will check and let you know! Are you just looking to have it as a surplus fuel can for the back of your rig?

And for those wondering I found the last 4 cans of black plasti dip at walmart for 6.97 a can. Sure beats the $25 a can back home! I wasnt able to check loews or hd but they may have had it there also.

UPS has a hub in Port Huron:
UPS
2321 Pine Grove Ave # 2210, Port Huron, MI 48060 » Map (810) 984-8882

order your parts from quadratec or any other vendor and have them sent to the UPS hub for "Will Call".

It would be nice to get some good gas cans, even just for the garage. CA has ours so screwed up you spill more gas than the stupid CARB design could ever save in fumes. I wonder if a guy would have trouble crossing some back into the US????
