Need help with front Dana 44 axle

I picked up a waggy d44 front axle pumpkin towards drivers side. Its obviously a 6 lug and i was wondering anyway to re-build it or convert it to 5 on 4.5, adapter wont work because the hub diameter or width is 3 1/2 inches and it needs to be 3inches to fit stock wheels I'm just trying to keep stock lug pattern I'm building a yj. And am kinda lost with this.any help or point me to a website that can help would be greatly appreciated
