need some help figuring out what tranny this is

hey guys and gals, i dont have a pic of it right now but...i got it because it was cheap and was told it was an ax5 and didnt really look at it when i picked it up but it looks opposite from my 95's ax5. it has a hard line going for the clutch fluid and its on the passenger side. it is mated to a NP 207 transfer case, i was just wondering if this was out of a cherokee or and early YJ or what. TIA
