Needing help

I went to change my sway bar link and it won't come out. Everything is unbolted and it just won't budge. Anybody else have this problem? Any ideas on how to get it out?

What I did was take the whole thing out, put it in a vice, and then I smacked the edge of the end of the sway bar with a hammer and then the link ends popped right out. Hope this helps - sorry if I didn't explain that too well...

No I kinda get what you are saying. I have beat that thing to death with a hammer. I tried using adjustable pliers and twisting and nothing has worked. Maybe I just need a bigger hammer. Lol

I used my awesome MS Paint abilities to try to better explain what I was talking about...Oh, and don't beat on the top of the bolt coming out - I'll mushroom out and be horribly tough to get off.

You should be able to get it off at the top if you do both sides at the same time. Or you can remove the bottom bolts.

What you are trying to do there is twist the sway bar and that is not easy.

Well I finally got it out. 😃 It took me forever to get it out. What I had to do was get a hole punch and a bigger hammer and it popped right out. The reason I changed it was because I was having a death wobble only between 50 and 55. If I went slower it would stop. And if I went faster it would stop. Since I changed those and my tires it has gotten a lot better. Now I only get a vibration between 60 and 65. Anybody have a clue what this could be?
