New 2012 Rubicon - Offroad Front Bumpers

I have just joined this forum as I am about to become a Jeep owner for the first time - my 2012 Rubicon was just shipped today. While I have been awaiting its arrival, I have been reviewing this forum and determining what modifications I wanted to add. Two of the mods that I decided on were one of the offroad Mopar bumpers and a Warn winch. The two offroad bumpers that I was looking at were parts #82212929 and #82211715AC. The winch I was looking at was part #82209325AB. After conveying this information to the parts department personnel (extremely helpful) and him doing some research and calling, he got back with some disappointing news. He indicated that he had been advised by Chrysler that ALL of the offroad bumpers that could have winches installed for the 2012 Wranglers were being delayed due to some type of a problem with them interfering with the cooling system / sensor (?) in the 2012 Wranglers. They were going to have some type of solution (hopefully) by the end of December.

As I indicated at the beginning of my email, I am completely new to Jeeps (always having owned / driven sports cars previously). I have read many posts in this forum to try to begin educating myself and you folks seem to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Accordingly, I'm reaching out to see if any of you have heard about / experienced this and what your comments / suggestions / advice is.

Thanks in advance for everyone's time and expertise.

I don't know about your situation specifically, but I have found you can get better quality at better price with the aftermarket.

Is that the thing on the drivers side behind the front bumper? I'm not sure of the proper name for it , but someone makes a relocation bracket for it.

Found it
