New Catalog!!!

Am I the only person who gets a new Jeep parts catalog from a distributor and reads it like a magazine for a month or two?

I just got a JC Whitney CJ/Wrangler catalog in the mail today and even with no real intentions of buying anything soon, it might as well have been a National Geographic or Field and Stream... and it was just a thin one.. the seasonal 4 Wheel Parts and Quadratec catalogs get carried all over the house and bookmarked.. There have to be others that do the same..

Lol! I was just at the dinner table tonight doing the exact same thing. I keep them for months and re-read them again and again. I get lots of great ideals from them.

Been reading JC Whitney for years, cover to cover. Get a kick out of things I have seen. Back in the 80's they sold fake stick-on cell antennas and fake carphones. Also they sold these giant whitewall rings to pimp your tires and I remember the chandelier lights for the fenders like the movie escape from New York.

My grandma always called the Montgomery Wards (excuse me, "Monkey Wards") Catalog the "Wish Book."

I get all the catalogs here at work, and always recommend them to people. Especially the newbies when they ask questions like "what kind of top can I get ..."
Quad, 4wd, JCW, the race/performance company that I can't think of the name right now, -- all great catalogs.

It's the only easy way to compare different brands - it's too hard to flip back and forth between web sites.

I like to read the JCW, 4wd parts, 4wd Hardware, Quadratec catalogs and compare the prices

I get JCW and 4wd parts on my email add. so there's a lot of freeshipping and sales to checkout !!

I used to read "Playboy", this ain't better, but my wife supervises that !!

Thank you Jesus that I don't get anything but Summit catalogs..... I'd be broke for sure.... Not that I'm not already. Nice that the Summit books are pretty easy to ditch, if they were full of Wrangler goodies, I'd be in trouble.

Despite her better judgment my wife still puts all Jeep, motorcoss and gun catalogs in the bathroom for me.

It's a vicious cycle I tell ya. I'm such a sucker for catalogs.

I didn't even know they made tracers for 12GA much less smoke bombs, incidiary, DRAGONSBREATH!!! Catalogs have everything I never needed and more so much more... Inflatable dog bed, barkbusters with turn signals, LED under cabinet lights, remote control rock crawler, keychain garage door opener... Sheesh.

The more stuff I buy the more catalogs I get.
