New Jeep Owner Soft top Question?

Hey,
I am a new Jeep owner and it is starting to warm up where i live and I have a question about the soft top. Is it ok to run with all of the windows and doors off but keeping the top up?

Thanks!

Simple answer is yes. It actually doesn't put any stress on the back window because they'll all be out. You may want to lube those zippers if you have any issues removing or reinstalling. A candle, bar of soap, Mopar zipper lube. I read somewhere how someone even used reel lube because it is waterproof.

I run with doors off and widows out all the time. I just leave the top up to keep the sun off.

I just do that because it's hard to take it off with the roof rack But now I have another excuse

Have you considered the Spiderwebshade TJKini or JKini, depending on your model year? Another member just got one and was praising it. I'm considering one, just to keep the sun from being so bright. And it doesn't interfere with soft top. Cost is $50-60.

I'm in the process of thinking up a design a pair of straps fro mine to hold the bow bar in place while the sails are folded up. Kinda like two cargo straps and some velcro strips, I saw it somewhere but I can't remember where I saw it at but its a poor mans bikini top

I ride with like that all of the time. Don't need the door surrounds either.

I must say I'm loving my spiderweb shade top.
