New Jersey Driving Laws

Hey everybody!!

I just recently got a jeep and I was wondering what new jersey's law was for driving without doors and if its legal to not have a driver/passenger side rear view mirror.

Can't really find anything on this...

Just have a mirror on your drivers side and a rear view mirror! I talked to a state cop on my street and asked and he said you probably won't get pulled over for no mirrors but it's just giving them another excuse to pull you over. Good luck and have fun with the jeep

Ah, NJ. They won't let you pump your own gas, but they don't care if you have doors or not.

I have not driven in Jersey in many many years, when did they get traffic laws?

A couple days ago I passed a Wrangler on RT9 with the windshield folded flat so I would think doors would be optional .

It's not really legal to drive in NJ with the windshield folded flat. Cops may not pull you over for it, but doesn't make it right.

Hard to tell if something is a joke through written word without indication.

Ahh, I have a very dry sense of humor anyway. I just figured if ya knew jersey It would have to be a Joke but then again in Jersey I probably need a permit posted in my window to be sarcastic .

Oh, I know Jersey very well. I just also know that there are a ton of drivers in NJ that don't know what is and isn't legal. So, I always assume the worst!
