new tires

hey guys im looking at buying some new tires for my jeep. Im planning on atleast 4 inchs of lift. so im pretty sure i can fit 33s, i see pro comp is running a sale buy 3 get one free. So the questoin is should i go with the mud terrains or the xterrains. the xterrains are a few more dollars, about 70 more i beleive. Im gonna be running on a variety of terrians, some road, mud, snow, old skidder trails, and well just about anywhere i wanna go. im also open to your suggestoins on diffrent tires, well thats the main resons for the post.

bfg mt are also worth a look. Truxs MT also might be something to consider, although you can have some balance issues.

What type of wheeling (terrain) do you do? Or is your Jeep mainly a daily driver?

I have ran the procomp mt's and I'm currently running the xterrains the xterrains are much better tire then the mt
so I would say get the xterrains they hold up very well and give good traction in everything Ive pointed them to

I use to own bfg mud's but I would tear the side walls every time I went out
out here the only bfg that anyone runs is the krawler
the bfg mud's just dont hold up to the vegas rocks

I'm looking to buy myself in a few days. I've put pen to paper and can't ignore the ProComp sale. I just got a mailer that's offering what amounts to a free set of steelies and free M&B along with the buy 3 get 1 free. So get all 4 tires, 4 wheels, free M&B but only pay for 3 tires. Just can't ignore that. Now I'm trying to make the same decision, MT or Xterrain.

here's the problem I had with the pro comp mt's
they where a good riding tire on the street had good traction off road but the set I had chunked out pretty bad and that was just on the easy trails
I took them on the rocks once at the end of the trail some of the lugs had tore off

just spend the extra money and get the x terrains

I know that they up the price a little per tire when they have the buy 3 get the 4th free but you still save money
