new to jeep

I just purchased a 00 jeep today, haven't picked it up yet. I figured I would try and get some info about it.

so whats the deal with the tj, yj, cj? Sorry if really "newb" question. I am truck guy. Ask me any question about my 98 gmc and I can tell you. Jeeps are a little foreign to me.

congradulations on to purchase ,,, welcome to the addition.

the deal with cj,yj,tj ,,, is the different models of wrangler.. cj's are the older ones. Yj's are from 88 to 95 and TJ's are 97 to 2006. the new wranglers are JK's.

just a model code from the factory for different years
