Hello Jeep friends. I am new to this group and I have a question. My wife and I are looking for a slightly used wrangler. We found one yesterday. The only problem is that it was a Jeep buyback because of a leaking problem around the roof of the vehicle. It is a 2014 Wrangler Sahara Unlimited and has 6900 miles. They are asking 31,997. I was wanting to ask opinions on if I would have any leverage power in price negotiations for this vehicle. Thanks for any help.
You can go to someplace such as Edmund's Appraise a Used Car. Plug in the style, options, mileage, zip code, etc., and see what a similar one without any problems is worth and go from there.
MANY of them leak somewhat. I wouldn't let that stop me from buying one, but it better be a good deal. Make sure you shop around for deals on a new one to make sure it makes sense to buy used. Both times I was looking at Jeeps, new made more sense to me that saving $1-2000 for a used one (with a leak no less!).
