new wrangler wont go

hi there,
I have a 1988 wrangler i just bought with an inline 6.
It is carbureted. I had it out on the weekend, and driving along it just died on me.
I beleive I have isolated that there is no power at the coil. Where do I go from here ?
From what I see is is the MPU - micro computer unit ? And where is that ? Where is the fuse panel in this thing ?
Any help greatly appreciated, I just bought this bucket of bolts, and while I consider myself a good mechanic, I really didnt know where to start on it, until of course it broke down and told me
Thanks
Todd

There is an Ignition Control Module located under you washer fluid reservoir. You have to pull the washer fluid tank to get to it. If you are sure you are not getting juice to the coil I would start there. It is a Ford part...may be the problem.
