Question Newb Seeking Advice

Any good advice for an off-roading newb? Maybe a better way to put it, what's the one thing you wish someone had told you before you nearly killed yourself and beloved Jeep?

I am a newb too and just posted a similar thread in the JK Forum. I plan to join a local club - I know there are lots of them here. I live in Arizona. Someone in my thread posted a nice YouTube of what looks to me like a nice fairly beginner trail. Good luck! Also I think what I will do is make sure I either have someone with me or someone knows where I am lol just in case - or pick a well populated trail at least to start.

I have definitely watched a few of those, and I will apply brake as necessary. Though, to be honest, I was very impressed with how intact most of the Jeeps remain, along with their drivers.

Always wheel with someone no matter how easy it may seem.

Your first few times out go with some experienced Jeepers. They'll show you the proper way to offroad. Try joining a club or a loose affiliation of offroaders.
