Cool Nice shiny tires or down right dirty tires??

Out of curiosity~do you guys and gals prefer your tires with a nice shiny gloss or down right dirty, like you just rolled off the Rubicon trail??

I've noticed within the last week or so how "dry" my tires look

So I had to do the unmentionable~
Purchased some Meguiar's tire shine to apply to the stock tires(P225) that came with this Jeep.I felt like I was applying chapstick, that's how hideous these tires were looking. They still have their wiskers but good grief...I haven't even taken this thing off road yet.

I like them as they came and use the same spray I use to clean the entire jeep. I think it's Turtlewax Express Shine. No shiny, jusy clean looking

screw that. I like good looking paint and clean tires. I don't think I've bought tire shine since I've owned the jeep but I wash it on a regular basis.

If I am washing it I go all the way. But I let it look dirty for most of the time. I just don't like to leave mud on it as I want the metal to stay Rust free for as long as I can. But with the mud stains on the top it really never looks showroom clean.

WhityJ if you lived in Jersey you would have another opinion. Though I miss the top off. I did it the other day and froze my butt off.

Later,
Brandon

The TJ I think the only time my tires are dirty is when im out on the trail! I wash and vaccum my jeep every saturday...even in the winter ( here in Texas our winters can get REALLY cold ) . So most of the time my tires are all armor alled up, and the chrome rims are always shiny...along with the rest of the jeep!

The CJ are mostly dirty or have marks from rocks on them. The only time that things gets a bath is when it rains or its just REALLY dirty!

LOL that's me CLIFFORD... I like to get it dirty, but as soon as I'm done I'm at home with the pressure washer cleaning it up. My interior MUST stay clean!

Once in awhile in the summer after I wash it, I'll spray them (spare included) with some tire shine. But not all that often, and never this time of year. It takes half a damn can, and besides- MT/R's aren't supposed to be shiny.
