No doors = No mirrors

So I'm going to take off the ol' doors today and I'm thinking "Damn. I won't have any side mirrors." I suppose I'll get used to it, but its going to suck. I don't suppose there happens to be a work around?

You can buy mirror relocation brackets. They attach to your windshield brackets. Just make sure not having mirrors is ok where you live cause in most parts it's illegal and u could get fined.
Here's a few..

The motorcycle mirrors work great. What I like even better is that here in TN I don't need any to be legal.

I bought these suckers for my 03 Rubicon.

Amazon.com: Rugged Ridge 11025.02 Black Mirror Relocation Bracket - Pair: Automotive

Word of advice, if you decide to go this route first check your mirrors. Look underneath where a bolt would be attached to see if there is an actual bolt. Some Jeeps, such as RubiX, didn't have a bolt instead it was a 1 way washer that you'd have to break to get the mirrors out, so I had to use the mirrors I had on my spare half doors.

Gone but not forgotten: 98 TJ; 4.5 lift, 33x12.50 Pro Comp MT, and lots more.

Wait...what'd you call me?
Yeah, I got the relocation brackets from the ol Amazonz and they work...except I can't see a damn thing out of my passenger side mirror with the doors on. All the more reason to roll around without doors, I guess

Look around - maybe Quadratec or something because they make a few different options depending on what you need. I'm not a fan of the relocation brackets (had a set on my old TJ) and I needed something that didn't sit in the hinge because I use my full soft doors quite a bit so I ended up with the Lange:

I went to the local Harley store and picked up one mirror. Fits right in the open door hinge. I think it was around 25 bucks.

First thing i did was rip my doors off when I bought my Jeep back in 93. I was doorless today and what you give up in side mirrors you make up for in awesomeness...just peek over your shoulder when you need to change lanes...no biggie

Some states require 2 rear facing mirrors and it is enforced. I only put mine on to make the cops happy. I don't even aim it and it ends up getting turned around from the wind anyways, but its there.

I use these I can't remember what I paid for them. I got them from either quadratec or 4wd hardware.

The end of the of the rod is threaded and fits just about perfect into the hinge. You just attach the nut on the bottom after passing it through the hinge. Extremely easy and no mods needed. This may not be as convenient if you take your doors off and on a lot but it retains your stock mirrors on the doors when you have them on. My doors pretty much stay off through the summer.

Which nut? It comes with the Harley mirror or the stock jeep one

I bought a rugged ridge set that can be removed and put on with one hand so u can keep the factory mirrors on the door... They work great and cost like 40$.

I do exactly this, the mirror even flops around a little with the wind, i haven't found a good way to aim it yet. mainly because i don't care

Of course, if it was $25 at the Harley stealership you coulda got it for $5 anywhere else.
