There should be a red line, i think its like 5K, but i could be wrong, havent driving mine in awhile

its 5200rpms.. you should never need it that high though.. the engineers specifically designed the motor to make its power in the low to mid range..

That was from Reno 911 a loong time ago. Good stuff!! I wouldn't worry about it. There is a thread or quite a few on here where people have changed out their gauge cluster or modded them with aftermarket gauge clusters.
