Thanks for posting what pictures you did have! You need to get some more (pictures, not shoes).
Daggo, I'm a bit picture shy. I use to be 240 (at 5'3") and I hated getting my picture taken (especially full body shots). Friends got use to me hiding and asking them to delete pictures of me. So now that I am 120, I am still in the non-picture mode.

I don't have many bills. Expect for my Jeep and my house, everything is paid in cash. If I can't afford to pay it in cash or pay it off before the interest starts to hit...I don't need it. That collection on shoes took me 2.5 years to bulid.

Being smaller now, it actually annoys me when people pay attention to me. They never use to play attention to me before. Nothing about me has changed, I am still the same sassy, trucker mouth, hard working girl I was before. Just the outside wrapping changed. It is amazing how many men are willing to help me when I am shopping at Menard's. Before I could be trying to get a ladder down to see if it is the size I want and having a hard time. Now I have 5 guys wanting to help. I went in to O'Reilly's with my water pump still attached to the fan (I couldn't get it apart to replace the water pump on my Liberty) and had 2 customers and all four staff people working on it to remove it. That would have NEVER happend when I was 240. They would have rented me the tool and sent me on my way.

That is a LOT of shoes.

Glad you lost 120 lbs, Julie. That is fantastic.

Nice shoes, nice gams. (Slang a leg, esp a woman's shapely leg).

As a photophobe (is that a word?) myself, I completely understand when you say you don't like your picture taken.

Well my name pretty much says it all. I'll hit a trail occasionally that's about it. It's not stock. Lifted about 2 inches w/ 31x10.5 BFG AT's. The picture here doesn't do it any justice. I get tons of compliments on it. Why a Jeep? No jeeper should have to ask. Cause - "it's a jeep thing".

I've always liked Jeeps but I bought my RHD Wrangler to deliver mail with. Its 4WD has helped me through snow and muddy driveways when I've needed it. It is nice to have the Jeep's capabilities on road or off.

Dirty donkey poop on the idea no jeeper should ask! Your reasons for getting a wrangler may be very different from my reason.

jkritzeck.....that wasn't directed at you. On one of the posts from someone else they mentioned why have a jeep if you don't intend to 4 wheel with it. Hence the response"it's a jeep thing".

True, jeeps and off road just go hand in hand.. thou One can have a nice setup and yet attempt a few mild trails.. The fact of the matter is that if something was to happen and your really needed to get into a tight spot.. it's better to be prepared.

Even though I take mine off road and I'm addicted to seeing how muddy I can get it, I still make sure everything looks clean when I'm done. Call me anal when cleaning it, but once I get pics of the jeep before the wash, then I'll clean it. Hate it when the mud literally gets baked on by the sun. Though to answer your questions, I call mine Audry, though that will change as soon as I get my decals. I bought it because I always loved the options you can get and do to the jeep. I also love how I can park in compact parking spaces . The turning radius is something I could not live without, and the high crash safety stars that came with it was a big plus.

Not off roading in your local park tearing up the field), who are anal retentive about keeping their Jeeps cleans and you think your Jeep looks better shiny and clean than dirty, rusting and full of dents. Owners who have a Wrangler and use it as their everyday ride. I know we are a bit looked down upon by most Jeep owners (won't give us a wave…poopie heads).

1) Tell us why you got a Wrangler if not for the off roading. I just love the look of a Jeep. I love I can make him my own by adding mods. And it's also one of the most affordable 4WD you can buy. Living in WI I don't know why anyone would have anything but a 4WD car/truck/SUV.

2) What mods have you done to it? Pictures please. Because if I like it I will total steal your idea.

3) Did you name your Jeep? And so what is it and the name?
1. Because I wanted one and could afford one. I've liked the Jeep for a very long time but always strayed towards the Sports/Muscle Cars. I'd decided nearly two years ago my next vehicle was not going to be a Sports/Muscle Car and it was time for a change.

2. I've done absolutely no mods. I'm really not overly worried about mods but I will probably do a 2.0-2.5 inch lift and a set of 35"s.

3. No, I haven't officially named my Jeep. While I've named my previous vehicles, I've since grown out of that..."phase." It's just referred to as "the Jeep."

Not an off roader either

I just bought a new Jeep Wrangler Sport. I don't plan on off roading either, just taking it down country roads to state parks. But that doesn't make me love it any less. I love to drive it to work and to the store. On road, off road, it does not matter, I love my Blood Queen, (she is blood red) and driving it anywhere it's wonderful.

I love the "BECAUSE I CAN aspect. If I wanna go offroading I know I can, if I wanna drive down a gravel path or dirt road I know I can, if I wanna drive to work in comfort I know I can, if I wanna drive a convertible I know I can, etc.

Wanna guess why I own a Jeep, and the Rubicon at that? BECAUSE I CAN!

I love my Jeep, and I don't care if I use it for what it's made for or not. Plenty of people own Lamborghinis, yet have never topped them out at 217 mph; same exact thing.

I started off that way. I bought a stock Jeep for something fun to flat-tow behind the motorhome. I made the mistake of contacting a local Jeep club to ask some questions about my Jeep. One thing led to another, and my Jeep went from stock, to where it is now......still not finished. I also trailer it behind the motorhome now in case I break something. Regrets? Zero. Having the time of my life!

I will play.

1. I just recently bought a 2012 JK that will probably never see off road action, or at least for a quite a while. I love offroading just as much as the next guy but the JK is just to new and clean. I may take it down to the beach over the summer but no serious offroading or mudding. Prior to owning the JK I was using my lifted XJ as a daily driver. I still have the XJ but it need a lot of work to keep it as a DD so rather than dump a bunch of money into it all at once i decided to use the money as a down payment on a JK. I have always owned Jeeps so it came down to brand loyalty. Every XJ that I owned has been super reliable and I'm sure I can expect the same thing from the JK.

2. The only mods are rubi rails and a Gibson exhaust.
3. I don't name my vehicles.

Here is a pic of the XJ and the one of the JK.

This is my current 2009 JK Sahara in Deep Water Blue. I have a 2013 JK Deep Cherry Rubicon on order. I use the Jeep as my daily driver. It comes in handy for flooding and hurricane season, which happens here on a regular basis.

I like shoes too....Sorry, toes not done in this pic.....

I have a little obsession with Blue....

Great to see another woman on here! Plus I can drive my 6 speeds with the shoes on

I am beginning to think I was stupid to buy my Jeep off the lot. Everyone seems to order theirs. If I would have ordered a Jeep, I would have gotten the Gecko and as much as I like the color, I think I would have gotten tired of the color. Black fits my personality and my style. In the end, I think I made a right choice.
