Hello all, just wamted to touch base with everyone. ordered a 2012 rubicon friday, and have been checking out this site for a few weeks prior to ordering.I have in the past owned several 4x4s but this will be my first jeep wrangler.I was wondering if someone can tell me aprox how heavy the hardtop is,as i plan on removing it for summer. Also what is the widest tire i can fit without lifting or rubbing.I know the rubi comes with a 32inch tall tire but only 7.5 inches wide,,,i want something wider(looks much better) Thanks in advance, and i will post pictures when it arrives home...Also i ordered dozer orange with matching top and fenders but i will accent all with black accessories...later.

I'm not sure how much the top weighs, but my wife and I can remove mine easily. Some on here have lifted it by themselves. There are homemade hoist systems that are easy to make if you have some rafters to tie to; and systems you can purchase.
