It was a great idea. Except for the range wasn't great enough to Excape the blast.
We came up with a lot of ideas, just that some of them weren't very good.

Look for a nuclear powered jet engine.
That was another good idea.

It was plenty far enough to escape the blast. It was the radioactive particles that were floating around in the air that the crew would have been exposed to, especially if they were down wind.

Saweet. Why didn't they just have like small men crews with them with a jeep, so they could shoot and then drive off before the wind brought the blast to them? or just dont fire up wind... lol.
