Have you tried Crutchfield.com? They have a list of vehicles and can find what fits

It depends on your radio slot. Some Wranglers have Double din slots and some have 1-1/2 din slots. Either slot will fit a 1 din radio. You just need the single din install kit to do it right.

If it is a double din slot, I would stick with a double din radio, because Double Din radios have better options than 1-1/2 din radios.

If it is a 1-1/2 din slot, you'll probably want a single din radio. There are few options for 1-1/2 din radios, and Double din radios will cause you to modify the dash to install them. You don't need to modify the dash for a single din radio. You do need an single din install kit if you want to do it right. Also, a aftermarket harness to tap into your original harness.

If you have steering wheel controls that is a separate consideration.

From what I am gathering, you do need to do some modification to the 2007 for a double din aftermarket radio, because my understanding is that the slot is rounded. This wouldn't be necessary for a single din installation, but you would need the proper kit.
