# of Wranglers you see a day?

I saw my first Solar Yellow TJ today since buying mine. Plus, there was a blue JK in the same parking lot. That got me thinking about how many do I see a day. I'm in Metro Detroit, it would be too much like work to count the JKU's they are well into the double digits. From there it's a few JK's, one or 2 TJ's and usually not many older than that.

Living in the Los Angeles area I see more than I'd want to count. Of those I can count the jeep waves in one hand with fingers to spare.

Tons of JKUs, a fair amount of JKs and TJs and just a few YJs and CJs to round it out.

I see a lot of JKs on my way to and from work and only a couple of TJs and one particularly nice yellow YJ!

I'm a new Jeep owner. But I've always been a fan of them, so I noticed them quite often. Since becoming an owner though, I seem to notice them EVERYHERE. The shape is so easily recognizable, it's hard NOT to pick them out. Now I find myself looking for the modifications they did as they or I go by...One day in particular while driving on RT 17(NY) up towards our hunting property we noticed 17 jeeps in total. 12 of them were yellow!! I thought we had a rare color, lol.

As far as the whole wave thing..I've owned a Harley for most of my life. At first I was into the HD wave, then I rebelled against it, figuring it was a newb thing. I have waved at a few Jeeps, don't get much in return, except one nicely modded JK I see around quite often. I'm sure I'll bump into him eventually and meet him. Then we can stop waving at each other, lol.....

Here in the UK Wranglers are rare, I'm lucky if I see 1 a month. Plenty of XJs, ZJs, WKs and KJs.

3-10 a day about half are JKs. I think the number is going up steadily. A good growth indicator is that three local dealers used to stock 5-10 now always have 10-20 in inventory.

Also in Upstate NY, see way more than I can count. Seem to get a lot of waves though. More wave then don't in my experience.

I gave a friend of mine a ride home from work one time, he asked how many Wranglers we would see along the way. In 30 min we counted 50+, not including any on the 2 dealership lots we passed.

Phoenix is a hot spot for wranglers. On any given day, just a 20 mile round trip into Phoenix and back easily 25............

Some of our large Dealers. of which there are many, will stock 50, or more!

I see one usually every 5 minutes or so when I'm driving, here in NJ. I would say the vast majority of the ones I see wave back. Maybe 1 out of 10 doesn't reciprocate? Except this one lady in a yellow YJ. I have never gotten a wave back from her, and I see her at least once a week driving around. It is my mission to get her to wave to me.

Here in south orange county (CA), the JKU's are everywhere, not many 2 door.

As for the wave, I have to be honest, I don't always wave, just because I day dream and don't notice them until it's too late... I guess it's an age thing... I'm getting too old.. But I do like it when they wave back, which is rare...

Up in the Morongo Basin in Southern California, lots and lots of JKUs. Not very many 2-doors. Quite a few TJs, some YJs, every once in a while I'll see an LJ.

Last saturday I was sitting on my front porch enjoying the warm weather and I counted 30 different Jeeps that passed my house in 2 hours, most were JKUs and TJs and only 2 YJs.

Average one a mile. Almost all 4 door hardtops. None of those ever wave or even notice another Jeep. I have given up and I only wave to lifted & modified 2 doors.

I live down here in Orange County and I see tons; since I live within miles of a couple of Jeep dealers. Mostly soccer moms in the Saharas, bunch of older guys in Rubicons, young college girls in the Sports. All stock of course, never been dirty. There should be a crop of used 12's and 13's in 2018 in great shape.

Not to many waves down here either. Off Road Evolution is close by too, lots of moded rigs running around; both used and unused.
