Doctors say they expect a full recovery. I was told to drive my jeep at least 2-3 hours daily to speed up the recovery process

i've said before its not the same around my parts, not as many friendly folks (apparently i was one of them) i've only had my jeep a couple of weeks now and driving around i wasn't getting anyone that seemed to give 2 sh*ts whether i was in a jeep or a caravan, so i waited on one jeep dudes' initiation that was coming towards me, just a 2-lane road, only 2 folks on it.... nada
i said, out loud to no one, that's it i'm done, i don't care, not gonna wave.
game over, don't give a tiny little rats ass -
same road, 2 cars later, big yellow started coming at me - i had already made up my mind, no waving, he can suck it. well not only did i get a wave, but i got the whole hand out the window waving dealio! he seemed so frickin excited actually that it made me laugh! its like he knew he had to step it up and convert me
so i'm back on the waving wagon for now.
and i got another yesterday in some shitty traffic jam so - so far so good

Got two or three TJ waves, even one not even in their TJ wave.
Slowing down to make a right turn, and spot a TJ sitting in a driveway, owner is walking out to it. As I make the turn, I see the owner waving. Toot on the horn in return.

Did not wave at the one JK I saw. Was too dumb struck by it's looks. Looked like it was nearly new and someone at the tire shop had sold em the works.

I'm talking at least 35's but no lift. Instead of a lift that poor thing looked like it had positive back spacing on the wheels instead of negative. I swear the inside of the tires barely were inline with the outside of the flares.

Never have to worry bout flipping that one, but I'd hate to be paying the bills for the bearings and such it will be eating. That thing looked like it was riding the lines on the highway on both sides.

I think it is more like the "wrangler wave" cause we have had 3 xjs before we ever got our first wrangler and the waves were never there, lifted or not. Now on our part, we never waved at jeeps before we got a wrangler cause we didn"t know about the wave but now we try to wave at all the offroad rigs.

So my wave style is always huge, initiated by me, and either out the side or out the top, hopefully some of the jaded folks that don't wave (there are a lot in my area) will get a little bit of my excitement and start waving again! Of course everyone around me always stares funny because I am not very subtle about what I am doing. LOL

So we went to the grocery store last night and as we're loading them in the Jeep a yellow TJ harstop pulls in one spot away from me. I waved and she looked at me like I was crazy and just walked away. Denied.....even Hubster said that was wrong.

Tj's guys snub me too.

Its funny, I see the same drivers that used to wave to me when I owned the Tj and they pay no attention now. I literally had to
hang my head out the window to one of them "it's me you jackass"
He waves now.
Another thing I noticed, ever since I installed my soft top-I get more waves.

I own a brand new JK.. Its still stock.. cause its BRAND new... I plan on doing the normal mods ie: lift, new tires, wheels, rock rails, bumpers and maybe some more armor.... any who, I wave to all wranglers and most of them around here... don't wave.

Yesterday I was cruising around and saw another new JKU I gave the peace sign off my steering wheel.. the girl looked so confused =[ jerk face!

A couple days ago I seen a nice jacked up TJ... waved to him, confused look just like the girl in the JKU... I think its a retarded PA thing.. 90% of jeep owners don't wave back.. upsetting!!

When I roll thru PA during one of my weekends off (I am driving over to VA next month and will be over there for 4 months), I will make triple sure to wave! =) If you see a blond girl stick her whole arm out the window and give the hang loose sign, that's me!

I can't believe that some one's day is ruint because a grouchy person having a bad day didn't wave at them. if that's the case, then your 3rd vehical should be a Harley then your arm would be so tired from waving you'd wish it would stop.plus some people don't know about the Jeep wave like they do the Harley wave.you have to educate them.I wave at all Jeeps, after a while they get the idea.thats how the Harley wave started,I even get Jap bikes starting to wave at the Hog

So jeep needs to use this wave thing like VW did when it dids ads to revive the punch buggy punch dub thing.

Jeep needs to do a TV ad. . The entire ad is from the viewpoint of a jeep driver through a windshield. You dont know at first it is a jeep you are in First just showing cars and Jeeps passing looking from the windshield from the viewpoint of the driver. The camera zoom out a little and see the driver waving. He or she does various waves, peace signs hang loose etc. you see many cars passing but he or she only waves at a jeep...then back up more and you move the camera to show the grab handle on the dash with the Jeep since imprint....and then on the screen comes It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand!

That would be awesome. I would not fast forward through that commercial. They should also put it in the manual too.

WOOHOO! Finally drove by someone else in town that has their Jeep stripped down like me. We both had the biggest waves for each other, hehe. It was awesome!

I get waves from TJ's, YJ's and CJ's...heck I even get waves from other lifted off-road trucks. But besides my neighbor who owns a spanking new JK, I NEVER get waves from JK owners on the road...I just ignore them now.

I do the motorcycle "wave" (left arm hang-down) to other riders when on my Harley and about 90% respond. But, I have always also peace-signed Jeeps and other well set-up 4x4s when on the bike and more than half the time get a response back from them - never any dirty/crazy looks.
