A neighbor who has a White JKU always waves at me now since they saw me in mine after I finished it & started driving it. I get quite a few waves around town too, I love it

I either stick my hand out the window or throw up a little wave from the steering wheel. i'll wave at most wranglers, sometimes if its a super stock one or some old lady or mom is driving, i'm hesitant to see if they notice me. Then besides wranglers, cjs, etc, i'll wave at all other very modified jeeps like xjs.

I like driving my dads CJ7 though cause all the little wranglers make sure they wave and you can feel the power of having the older jeep.

Same for me. My friend is lifting her liberty apparently. I took her off roading in the jeep yesterday...probably wasn't a good idea.

I may wave once she gets it dirty for real.

From January to now, there has been a magnitude of Jeepers here not waving to those who do it year round. I'm guessing with the cold winter, the windows are up, the waves go down. And now with the weather getting up to the 60s & 70s, the waves are more frequent.

Just another day in the Metro area of Washington D.C.

Got 4 out of 7 waves yesterday!

Wrangler Wave

My wife just bought me a beautiful black wrangler (instead of a motorcycle) and for what we paid, it will be stock, for the most part, for a long time. And so, even in my stock jeep, I shall wave to all. All the way from granny and the kids to the pretentious ass in the lifted jeep.

I wave at every body but the wrangler wave has nothing on the motorcycle wave.

I could pass hells angels on my crotch rocket and get more waves than just passing a Jk in my tj. It doesn't matter to me but it was like a brotherhood thing on my motorcycles. I passed a 4 door yesterday, I waved, he looked right at me and just turned away. Wish wranglers were like that. Until then I will throw my hand out farther and farther till they get it.

If Jk owners don't wave cause we don't drive the same model just remember its still a wrangler. I k ow a lot are soccer moms and dads but they should still put 2 and 2 together about all the jeeps waving to them and only jeeps.

When I am in my 2012 JKUS I get more waves from non-Jeepers than Jeepers. Since I put the Old School rims on I even get a nod from some Harley riders. I get next to nothing from 2 door Wrangler drivers.

When I am in my CJ-7 I get the same thing.

Guess I am at both ends of the snob factor.

I wave at all Jeep Wrangler owners! Some won't wave back - probably because they can tell I'm not one that gets in the mud given that my JW is too clean! But, I don't care; I wave at all of them!!

I'm usually pretty happy when driving my Jeep, so I always *try* to wave at (or return a wave to) anyone; stock/mods/clean/dirty ... why would anyone consciously withhold a wave for those reasons? My problem is, sometimes I just don't notice until it is too late.

So, to the guy in the silver Sahara that waved to me today as I was making a right turn, I didn't see the wave until it was too late to wave back, sorry!!

I'm the same way! I have missed a few waves because I was thinking about something else.

4 out of 5 waves yesterday... ZERO for 6 today. Guess everyone is either not paying attention or grumpy.
