Here's to you!

Here's a wave to all my friends that pilot a Jeep. I don't care what it looks like, what mods it has or where you drive it. If you drive it 'cause you love it, then this wave's for you.

Me too....only it was 1 for 7....a maroon TJ blocked traffic for me to change lanes. Does that count as a wave?

I've been driving a wrangler for about 3 years now and I still get excited ... my wife thinks it's funny, but she gets excited when she's driving it and get's a wave! I get REAL excited when I get them from guys going the other way on the highway at 60mph! That's a 120mph wave! I got one afternoon! STILL pumped about that one LOL

I drive on the highway a lot. Those are the best waves, especially when its two lanes each way with a median.
P.S. If that is a Blues sweater your wearing in your avatar I respect the hell out of that!

Its why we wave

I think we all share something special. It's many things. It's the love of the open road, the freedom to go where others can't, the adventure of finding new places and meeting new friends, the "personal best" you feel when victorious over a pile of rocks, and a million other feelings that are only shared by others who have done it.

It's also the Jeep itself. It doesn't matter if it's a brand new Rubi with 'street' tires or a tricked out, dirty, dinged up CJ. They are all beautiful and we can see that.

We aren't a club. We aren't a society. When we wave it's mostly that we are saying, "I get it. I understand what you feel. I respect you. I feel it too."

It's very cool. Others look at our vehicles and don't have a clue about our 'lifestyle'. I love it.

I am almost 1 week into my 1st jeep. I intend to wave at each and every one of you I pass. If I don't it's because my attention is on some other aspect of driving and I haven't seen you. If you see I still have a basically stock jeep and are so superior to me that you can't bring yourself to wave back I wish you luck on your trip through life.

I'm with ya DaleUp! makes no diff to me...I wave to as many as I can. Karma is a good thing.
Yah, a guy threw a peace sign to me as I passed by on 95 north! I had not seen anyone do that before, first time in 15 years, and yes, I do try to wave. Most of the time it's others who pass me. Rock on!!!

In 1972 my first car was a red on red 1965 289cu gold block - 245Hp GT fast back Mustang - dad bought the first one in town, at 16 it became mine. For graduation - I ordered a 1974 Z-28 midnight blue metallic. 350cu - 375 Hp. In 1976 - married my high-school sweetheart - 1980- first son-1983 second son. Trucks for camping - station wagons for - well - family activities - fast forward - April 2012 bought my 2011 Wrangler - by far my coolest yet. Really enjoy the wave, and being part of the Jeep family!!
