Well I call it Jeep love. Jeep love is not so plentiful in Las Vegas, but I'm trying everything I can to keep it alive I've gone so far is to hang half way out the window to get a jeep owners attn. I used to live in Sacramento, those guys are hard core out there if u don't wave back they might follow you, break off your arm, then beat you with it. It would be nice if they told them at the dealership. Both of my vehicles require me to wave, I have a crotch rocket and as long as you are on a motorcycle and not a scooter you will get a wave. Any way my arm hasn't fallen off yet so keep wavin!!!!

One guy in his JK pulled up to me as I was stopped at a light in mine and I hadn't noticed so he used his PA system to comment on my "nice jeep". My girl and I were a little startled at first but I turned in his direction waved returned the comment. I thought that was pretty cool

In the interest of keeping the forum organized, I've merged the two newest jeep wave threads and merged the TEN old jeep wave threads....

Jeep Wave Franken-Thread

The old thread is locked, but all the posts are there. This here thread is now the official thread for discussing the jeep wave. It's sticky and easy to find. Have at it.

its not sad, that's what this is about, people learning, and exchanging ideas and opinions.

And that's quite alright. We're ok with it. Waving is important to some, not so important to others. Either way, the discussion in one place makes it a whole lot easier to find the info.

Or maybe you can find a glow-in-the-dark foam hand, so you can wave even when not in the Jeep

i have a crotch rocket too, so i'm used to the wave. i got my jeep last monday and on wed i had my first (and only) wave back, but it was from a slightly lifted one. the other few that i've seen that haven't have been SE's with the small steel wheels. what that means, i'm not sure.

sport bikers, 9 times out of 10 you'll get a wave back. not so much from the harley guys though.

I just got my Jeep and owned a 2000 Sahara years ago. I rolled my eyes the first time I drove my 02 because some idiot in a passing Jeep waved... because I forgot about the retarded Jeep wave. I wish people would stop doing it, it's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Kinda like a secret handshake at a Star Wars convention.... ;-(

Just a post troll guys. Anyone that creates an account just to bash someone/something obviously has far better things to do than WAVE after all.

I always wave to all CJ's and Wranglers regardless of how new or old. 30% of Wrangler owners don't, I'd say. CJ's almost 100% do.

Hardly a troll. I stopped by here to get some info on my new toy... but come on guys... a wave.... lifestyle...

To insinuate someone that wouldn't wave because you owned a jeep, also wouldn't stop if you were broke down is pretty sad.
