Oh s*** bars

So, I've recently been looking at some oh s*** bars for the Jeep, but I'm not sure which ones to get. What do you guys have and how good are they?

Oh s*** bars are strategically placed hand grips that you grab and say "Oh s***!" right before the driver does something incredibly awesome or incredibly stupid.

Look up user busemans and see what he recently did on his YJ. There are a ton of options now for metal grab bars as well as the new craze, parachute cord weaves. Post a pic when you get something installed.

I bought some from Q-tec years ago. One over the passenger seat to help the wife get in. One is in the rear of the Jeep for the daughter to hang on to. They are holding up just fine after 4+ years.

Love these.
All Things Jeep - Black Neoprene Grab Handles by Rugged Ridge for Jeep Wrangler CJ (1955-1986), YJ (1987-1995), TJ (1997-2006), and JK (2007-2012)

Super cushy. The neoprene wrap feels nice. Quality is 3/5 stars. I'd buy em again without hesitation. I'll snap a pic this evening.

As far as the grab handles, I've had the Rampage ones for over 8 years and they've held up great. The top is a bit faded from the sun but not bad.

I made some out of Paracord!! They work great. I will try and post a picture tomorrow for you to check out. Great thing about them is you color coordinate with your jeep or do something that just stands out.

I bought these rampage grab handles for $10 on ebay for the pair. I like them so far, they do the job.

Actually, I always thought the oh s*** bar was the bar just above the glove box and the grab handles were just grab handles.

You said you made yours, but do you happen to know of any place or website that sells paracord handles?

I made these on my TJ. It really took no time at all and nothing is better than saying you did yourself.

Me too! Except the grab handles are called "JESUS! Handles"
Depends on the severity of the situation on which you grab for!
