Ok, who was it?

Saw this on the facebook status of a friend of mine:

"Driving to work yesterday a Jeep passed me that had obviously been out wheeling in the mud. Written on the back window was 'My wife ain't clean either'. Only in Vantucky."

It wasn't me that saw it, or I would've snapped a pic.

The friend who posted it lives in the Pacific northwest. I just thought it was funny, and that maybe it was someone here.

haha.. OK.. I guess I never saw your little quotes.. I've seen and met alot of the jeeps in WNY that are tied into the local offroad community.. So I usually have good luck pinpointing who it was if they had the jeep before 5 months ago

There's a local offroad community?

Man, around where I live (east of Rochester), I can go days without seeing another Wrangler. I'm outnumbered by Hummers a good 5 to 1.

West Seneca here.. Just moved back to the area for a job... I know I know who moves to WNY for a Job let alone back after leaving ...

There is a massive offroad community in WNY, witch is funny because there isn't really any legal wheeling options.. 5 clubs to be exact.. Everything being private property and all in NYS.. Whispering Pines is really it that i'm aware of in the whole state outside of a two properties run by offroad clubs out of elmira/corning area..

Let me add that those with money take the 5 hr trip to PA once a month at least.. I think they all have money trees.. As to the hummer population in the area, It is very crowded.. At least with where I am though I have to admit, With all the XJs ZJs and Wranglers I see, the jeeps far out weigh the hummer population..

FYI if you shoot the hummers they don't always die, but for fear of being hunted more they do tend to go into hidding

Haha, gotcha. I live in the same county as Whispering Pines, only about 20 minutes away, but I haven't been there. My dad has a farm and so do a lot of family members/family friends, so I never have much trouble finding a little wheeling. I do wish there were more trails though.

One of the clubs around had a poker run on New Year's day that I wanted to do, but I was a little too hungover to move.

Haha.. I didn't even make it to midnight.. let alone backcountry4wheelers poker run on new years day.. Was downtown for the IIHF Games Friday then Saturday at 5pm I headed downtown for the Sabres game..

FYI.. I'm extremely jealous you have places to wheel and easy access to W.P if you want it.. It's a fun place to wheel.. Not horrabley difficult.. When wet its not very stock friendly but in contrast when dry a stock 4x4 can handle most areas of it just fine.. Some deep holes that will burry most but if you stay out of them you most likely wont get stuck unless it's been raining and your on slicks.. O and in the snow.. That is when it when it really shows teeth.. Better be locked, loaded, and ready to go..
