Old Skewl Kewl!

This is footage from the very first Sierra Del Sol Jeep event. If you are interested in older Jeeps, this is pure nirvana footage.

Back in the days when tires were small, flex was just something you did to show off your arms, and "remote reservoirs" were something you drove to, not something you put on your shocks.

Shameless plug: This is the type of thing I post on my blog at bestop.com/blog.

Now that was an awesome video. Thanks

Sweet vid Geoff!!! I got to see 2 of my 3 favorite off-road vehicles in one vintage video. Old Jeeps and old Broncos are awesome! If only there was an old Scout in the video, then it'd be PERFECT!!

I like the old way of getting a Jeep unstuck = 3 guys pick up your rear end.

Nice video. Like all things, safety was not as big a factor back in the good ole days. I only say that because of the people hanging on the roll bar while wheeling around. No seat belts and if the thing ever rolled they may end up with the headache. Amazing we all lived to this day. ha ha.

NICE! funny now, it seems if you take a stock jeep out for alittle riding around like that you get laughed at because you cant do the "big boy" stuff heh.

Back in the day, my dad was part of these groups. He and his brother used to swap Hudson engines into their Jeeps. When's the last time you heard anyone ask a question about a Hudson engine swap?

That was cool. Its funny to see people doing things that you would hope to never see anymore (seems like back then people didn't die...they just got away with it).

CaveDiver - I may have a treat for you very soon. In the form of a Scout. (I'm waiting to hear if the project is a go or not)
