I've got a .50cal ammo can bolted down in the back that has basic tools, thinking about getting a small fire extinguisher, and a 1 1/2 inch ~20 foot tow cable with steel eyes. Anything I should add to it? Kinda new to this but love it. Im thinking about getting jumper cables, they don't take up any space in anyother vehical but in wranglers it seems they take up more space than the engine -_- any way to get around that.
Wow how big is your compressor and tank? And where did you mount them? I thought you need alot of air to run tools of that sort.
Oh its not that serious or powerful enough to run any air tools that's for sure. Its just a little one that uses alligator clips to hook onto the battery to air back up tires and what not. However I have seen people use York engine driven air compressors and mount small tanks in the under carriage and what not. I don't need that though.
Tow rope, tree strap, snatch block, socket set, open ended wrench set, 550 cord, shovel, MRE'S, MSR mini stove, mini cook set, wire cutters, knife, tire iron, and I think that's it. I also have a fire extinguisher and first aid kit strapped to the roll bar.

Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a Government agency!

was in the Mtn's riding the fireroads a few days ago, after some Wind-From-Hell, and there was a number of trees down!
Any of you folks carry a small chain-saw as part of your gear
Always a good idea, especially around timber country during times of snow and high winds. Problem with that is then ya gotta haul a gas can for the saw or just siphon some out and mix it on the spot..
We always take a saw during Elk Season here, better than being trapped in the woods by downed timber if it's too big to pull out of the road... "BH"
