He's active duty military and I'm civil service and a partially disabled vet. So two government jobs + disability.

But really a wrangler isn't that high end. I mean I traded in my truck bc I didn't need it anymore and my payment dropped by over $300. Wrangler is about average for price isn't it? Tbh I haven't paid attn to price of anything but trucks and jeeps in ages so I really don't know.

The common thread here is that all work hard all week and are rewarded for it. Not much in life these days come easy or free. Set your goals and work towards them.

^^^^. For years I've been baking in the sun on top of aircraft wings, and cutting the crap out of myself trying to maneuver my arms into jet engines cursing at the engineer that designed it. What I have to sow for it is arthritis in my hands and spine, nerve damage in my legs, and bad hearing. Doc has told me I've got maybe 10 years before I need a hip replacement if I'm lucky and they're wanting to fuse my back but I can't take off work that long.

But I've been doing it long enough I can afford some toys. And I have full intentions of playing with them until I'm too broken to climb in anymore. Nothing comes for free and some of us have worked ourselves into the ground getting there.

Retired Air Force Flightline Avionics, now work for the Air Force as a Field Engineer, a 5 month deployment last year helped pay for my Jeep, and future ones will help pay for the mods. Can't do a lot of the things I used to enjoy doing, but I can still go Jeepin'!
