Ordered a dirty Mudder Column Cover!

I just ordered a Dirty Mudder Column Cover, it's supposed to be for the JK as Greg often has his top down all the time and at work it may get rained on almost daily. I'm likely to "borrow" it for my YJ until I order a second. I'll be sure to share pics when we get it!

Is there a clockspring in a YJ? They don't have airbags or cruise do they?

530KTM:

It's a cover for the steering wheel and column made by Linda (InfernoGirl) to protect the clockspring in your steering column from rain. She has a thread on here, let me find it!

Ageless Stranger, I wondered what my YJ might have of importance but I figured something might be important in there. I don't know. Figured for now Greg has all the expensive parts in his JK so we'll get him lined up with a cover and then I'll figure out my situation. If anyone knows, let me know! I really don't quite know what a clockspring is so maybe I don't even need a cover. But no, I don't have airbags or cruise.

Thanks for posting the links for 530ktm!

I mostly read the link but I still don't know the answer. I would assume yes, I have a clock spring but it has less to control, just the steering and horn in my case?

I'm guessing only the horn. I'm not very familiar with the YJ though. Sorry I can't be more help.

It's okay. I should figure it out before possibly ordering a second though. I've had plenty of rain in my YJ, no troubles. JK had lots of rain and we've had trouble with the horn, cruise control and one other thing I can't remember.
