Paint coming off of Mirror

The paint on mirrors of my 1998 Wrangler has peeled off. Do any of you all have any problems like this? What should i use and how should i restore them?

Thanks

I just did a light sanding to remove loose paint, or chrome, whatever the case might be , then used rust-oleum bed liner, came out nice.
