I like it all with the exception of the actual Jurassic Park Logo and that hideous light bar. I do like the idea of having the lights up there though.

One of the best movies ever. If that thing only had round headlights ha ha. That'd be an awesome paint job, hell just the Jurassic Park logo would look sweet.

i've decided it will be done. but probably not for another year. i'm about to grad college. my priorities in order are find a "career" type job, not the "jobs" i've been using to get through school. save up for a first house (probably under 80k) and a new car. jeep is my DD right now, once i'm rocking button downs and ties every day, the jeep is not going to be very fun ( dripping in sweat by the time i get to work every day). after i get another ride and the jeep is not my DD. i will start doing some more off-road type mods (axle/gear upgrade, 33"-35" tires) and the JP paint job!

i'm afraid i'd get tired of it every day, but for playing around and cruising in the spring / summer, it'd be fun

When Movies Are shot they Use al kinds of filters and camera adjustments for sunlight and such so sometimes things look a little Different on screen than in Real Life. The Jeeps Were not GRAY, there are several photos out there taken during and after the movie and you can see that they are not gray they are the factory 92 Sand Beige Poly (Low Gloss) the low gloss makes it look grayish.

You can go here http://www.jurassicparkjeep.com sign up Im ECTO-DMC and read the topics where it has been picked Apart to death.

But I will say this Some have chosen to go full Gray just for the fact that that's how the Jeeps looked to THEM on Film, and that's fine by me (personal choice) on the other hand would rather just paint it the way they did it in the movie SANS the LOW GLOSS lol (its a pain in the BUTT to keep clean)

I think it looks good, but think it would look really good with a 3 to 4 " lift on it and that paint.

Sorry. I have to disagree. It looks horrible. BUT, you should go with what makes you happy. It's your cash.

Old thread...but I say why the hell not? Nothing about it looks bad, unless the people don't like the paintjob(red stripes and red rims.) Other than that, the Jeep is factory. DO IT! Hope you started this!

It can be done with plastidip! Forgive the fact that I have a JK and the fact that it's grey and not "sand beige". I'm young and it's what I've had access to. Everything on my jeep is done in plastidip. It took 3 days total, some stencils, a sharpie, $100 dollars in plastidip, painters tape, and the handiwork of my boyfriend. I'm sure you could get the plastidip kit that allows you to make your own colors and work some magic and make a sand beige color.
I've received many compliments and have had many people take photos of my jeep! Even though it's not completely accurate, seeing little kids smile and ask to take pictures with my jeep is beyond worth it!
For me, the best part is that I can peel this off and go back to my bright orange jeep after a little bit of peeling time.

It's always a good idea to check the date of the thread before commenting on it.
