Do you need a top you can drive with, or one for when it's parked? If only when parked, I highly recommend a Bestop Trail Cover.... Works with or without doors, but only with the top down.

I just checked the link, did you read the part about the install time???? "Less than an hour". Well if it's gonna take me an hour to put it on, I might as well just drive home in the rain, cause the Jeep and I would be drenched before I got the top on anyway.....

Can you make something out of old milk jugs?

The Emergency Top is great for what it is. Just don't go thinking it's a cheap substitute for a "real top."

Picture yourself up on a mountain, and it starts thundering and lightening, rain coming down really hard. You can put this top on in 10 minutes or less (takes a few minutes to find the front end, just like with our covers), and drive down to that nice warm bar at the ski area. The one with the awesome Irish Coffee.

Or maybe get home from work, if you take back roads and stay below 45 MPH.

That's what it's there for. But there's a reason it's sold with two ponchos. It is waterproof fabric, but you're going to get wet around the edges.

I have no idea why install guide says it take a an hour. It's not really any harder to put on than a TrailCover.

PS: Bestop owns the Pavement Ends brand. I just mention that in case you think I'm slagging on the competition. :-)

Sorry geoff I didn't buy it . I decided to use a tarp
Well we might get some light rain so I figured I would finally have a chance to test out . 6x8 tarp with about 10 bungees and a PVC pipe bent upwards between the rollbars is an amazing thing. Its surprisingly tight. Tomorrow ill post pictures. Also I want to test drive it. From how tight it is I don't think ill have any issues with going 45 for short distances.

Just kidding. We'll get your money sooner or later.

I never had a fancy cover for my Jeep until I started working here.
