People complain about factory low beams being too bright?

Lately I have been experiencing people getting pissed at me for how bright my low beams are; especially individuals in vehicles low to ground.
From road ragers to other drivers flashing brights.
...Just wondering... If other Jeepers have had these issues...

It'll certainly happen if you lift and don't adjust the lights.

If not lifted, I guess your lights could still be out of adjustment I suppose.

It's not because they are bright, but because they are misaligned and point too high. Jeep's light are actually pretty dim, but any headlights that are not properly aligned will blind oncoming cars.

Right, I could tape a couple of MagLites to the fenders and it would be brighter than the factory headlights.

It's 6" total lift. The previous owner is the technical consultant at the jeep dealership I bought the beast from. He ensured me the lights were adjusted for height. Maybe this town has an abnormally high volume of whiners with sensitive eyes...

Your lights are probably aimed to high. Have you added weight to the rear which might change the angle? At any rate if oncoming traffic is flashing their lights at you solve the problem before you become a statistic. Guaranteed everyone else is probably not wrong.

I've upgraded to Xenon bulbs in Delta housings, upgraded the wiring and added a relay to pull power directly from the battery. Nice, bright white light, with no complaints from oncoming traffic.

Check the aim on the lights. Lots of info on the web on how to do it yourself. It's easy.

Don't take his word for it, check yourself. It's not difficult. Other than than the torx driver for making the adjustment you need a wall. These can be borrowed if you don't have one handy.
