Pics or your CB Antennas

This has kind of been done before in model tech forums from Jeepers asking how they mounted and what hardware they used. I thought it would be cool for you guys to post photos of yours here to show where you mounted it and what brand. Please post if you used home-fab'd, that gives us inspiration as well.

I used a mount off my old freightliner that mounted the antenna to the mirror and attached it to my light bar.. But the problem is the light bar is to wide for the mount so i used 2 over sized U bolts from Homedepot to make it fit.. Nice spot but dosent really get out far..
heres the best pic i got

I was raised in Bellevue. Technology doesn't always comply with dead zones, assuming you are referring to mobile phones and GPS. CB radios work within their specified range as long as someone is on that channel, if I understand it correctly.

It might be a hobby. It might be a look. I don't care as long as someone can hear me when I am in need of assistance.

Being I used to be a trucker I love CB's... not only is it a great source of Info for traffic Weather Bears etc.. in traffic jams its a great source of entertainment.. For instance.. I was on I44 in big cabin OK (i think) and there was a bad accident on the interstate where they had to route the whole interstate through a really small town most likely the most traffic that town had ever seen.. That CB went from food discussions to religion to politics to how much they hate there wives lol simply amazing how entertaining they are.

To answer the question about why people still use cb's...

When offroading in a group, it's often times easier to have everyone monitor a cb channel to stay informed about what the group is doing, rather than using cellphones. Everyone can talk to each other that way and it adds to the sense of belonging within the group. I ONLY use my cb when offroad.

There's a guy in my club who has antennas on both tail lights. Is that necessary?

Good explanation here - Dual Antennas. In short, no, it's probably pointless. I do intend to run a ham antenna of some sort off my other tail light, if I can ever decide on a setup.

A lot of times, where we go, there is no cell phone coverage.
