"Pinked" My Ride

so, i decided to add a bit of pink to my jeep, much to the dismay of some of you WF-ers . here's what it looks like. ftw, i like it

pink roller fairlead (pink duct tape), shock boots, and homemade sway bar disconnects

pink "poison spider" behind both sliders

Looks good, but the boots and sway bar disconnect look red to me. Then again I am a guy and maybe color is fooling me more these days.

Pink wheels, pink tube fenders, pink d-rings, pink rocker guards...

If you're going to go pink, GO PINK!

they are definitely pink, fluorescent pink actually. it was dark and dreary our when i took the pic, so that could be part of the problem.

i wanted to add subtle pink accents (as subtle as fluorescent pink can be anyway ). i think the bent look of it is has a few different factors going on. it is a military wrapped spring and i think the angle of the pic is affecting too.

actually my neighbor was surprised that i put pink on it at all. he told me that he didn't think that i was a "pink" kind of girl.

I saw a girl on the beach this past weekend driving a black jeep with some pink accents. It was pretty cool looking.....and she had a pink tire tread going across the hood. Chicks with black and pink Jeeps are COOOOOL!

Rock the pink!

I'm not driving it, so it doesn't offend me, and its subtle....so I say
Heck I'm going black with Yellow Accents. If I ever get time on the weekends I'll get to do the most subtle painting of parts. I've been wanting to do it for quite some time.

Okay, I'm sorry gurlz, but pink does not belong on a jeep. The whole appeal for a jeep girl is that she is a badass! Pink and badass do not go together. Flame me if you want, but I'll take a badass jeep girl over a Barbie anyday!

Really? This from a boy in an itty bitty XJ??
If you question how "bad ass" me and my Jeep really are just because it has a little pink on it then maybe you should try and follow me up a trail sometime bud
I have pink on my Jeep because I want people to know without a question that ITS MINE AND I BUILT IT

Oh I know, its just one of those days....LOL. I only take offense because theres a group of 4 of us girls up here that have built our Jeeps up from stock and we all have pink on them in one form or another. Some with the shock boots, some just painted diffs...
