Possible Driveline/Transfer Case issue (Denver)

Hey folks,

I have a question about the outputs shafts on my '08 2dr. It has started making some noises when under load that I can only describe as "ratchety." It's a six speed manual with a 4" lift. I installed a new coast ds in the front about a year ago due to it slinging grease.

I'm recovering from foot surgery so it's difficult for me to inspect the rear driveshaft. However, a did slide under yesterday just o take a look. My question is: should there be any in and out play at the transfer case? The front yoke can move in and out about an 1/8" and the back has some minimal play as well. Also, anybody have any suggestions for a shop who would help me diagnose the problem with out charging too much. (I've been unable to work due to the surgery.)

Thanks in advance
